Upon successful completion of the summer study abroad program, participants are awarded the Anansi Travels Global Citizen Certificate.

This certificate represents a student’s ability to engage across cultures with empathy, awareness, and respect. Through immersive, real-world experiences, participants learn to recognize diverse perspectives, identify cultural patterns, and respond thoughtfully to different worldviews—skills that can only be developed through lived experience.
